1/4 teaspoon saffron threads
2 teaspoons sugar or honey (to taste)
2 cardamom pods
2 shots of espresso
Additional saffron, cardamom, and sugar for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
In a small saucepan, combine the milk, saffron threads, sugar or honey, and cardamom pods.
Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the milk reaches a temperature of 140-150 degrees Fahrenheit (60-70 degrees Celsius).
Remove from heat and use a French press or hand mixer to froth the milk.
Pour the milk into a mug and top with the espresso.
